Judcomm: To recap, judcomm hears cases of unrest within the dorm. Committe Of Discipline (COD) has to hear the case first to determine whether Judcomm can deal w/ it. Dorm would establish what judcomm has the power to do.
- Discussion: One concern that having to tell COD everything will make it easier for situations blow up more easily. Another point is that we are already dealing with things ourselves. In favor of Judcomm, it might be better to have some sort of criterion set up to deal w/ interhall problems. People seem to be in favor of a mediation format of our own, not necessarily a judcomm. If we don't establish a judcomm, dormcon judcomm acts over us, but it's still voluntary so they don't have power to interfere unless we want them to.

Judcomm vote: unanimously against a judcomm

Dormcon Update:
- turned down Next House's 3000 proposal for a party
- Mandi is on a feasibility committee for w1 dorm. Still looking for people to be on the programming committe (RBA). if interested email dormcon exec.
- Bad Ideas proposal needed by next week.
- Fire inspections. cambridge is pissed off with us again. We're angry because they are picky about stuff that doesn't matter. Joe wants to fight for us! Email him!!!! Go see him!!!Fire resistant spray? Excessive paper=6-7 sheets and covering more than 1/3 of door. Signs on doors are bad! Clean the kitchens! Put paint away in people's room. In the future, housing will not be paying for movers. Milo is getting gaffers tape to tape cables down so people won't trip and fall. Inspector is coming back Nov. 1st (wednesday).
