Campus Preview Weekend is a big deal at East Campus. It is an opportunity to showcase not only the dorm, but MIT, to the potential and incoming freshman class, and we take it very seriously. There are a variety of projects and events that we put on to entertain the prefrosh. Residents give dorm tours all day, and we make every effort to be available to freshmen and answer their questions about MIT. One of the big events is Miss Ugly, where both male and female participants come up with entertaining ways to dress up and win the “Miss Ugly” title.
