FAC’s (or Friday Afternoon Clubs) are put on by a different hall every Friday during term, to celebrate the end of yet another week of classes. Every FAC has a theme and challenges the hall to feed the entire dorm with a very small budget. This rarely works of course, and there is a mad dash for the food at 5pm, the standard time when classes end. The FAC's are informal gatherings open to East Campus residents and their friends and typically occur at 5PM every Friday in EC's Talbot Lounge. Halls are required to organize at least one FAC per term, lest they be fined $100. Halls can be reimbursed up to $100 per FAC for the supplies necessary to sponsor them.
