Housecomm (11-08-06)

Attendance: missing 1E

  • Cruft: We're getting charged for grunging. that sucks. lounges are no longer okay. put cruft in basement of wood.
  • Dormcon update: We got funding for bad ideas from dormcon to the tune of $1200.
  • Bad Ideas: January Friday 19-21. Mtg. Sunday 10pm. Sean has an LEF proposal he's working on right now.
  • First housecomm: During the first housecomm of the term, newly elected hall chairs discuss vigilance, repercussions and policies of East Campus.
  • Elections: For President and VP coming first Tuesday of December. Candidates must have lived at EC for at least two terms, will live at EC for two more terms. Need a petition w/ 25% of residents signatures on it.
    • See constitution for descriptions of offices.
    • Need an elections comissioner. Marty wins! He rocks.
    • Petitions due by Thanksgiving to Milo.
