Dining Chair:

CPW:

• Need someone to be in charge of jousting
• Proposals due before the end of Spring Break as well as money requests
• Sign up for prefrosh

Renovations:

• 99% chance laundry room will be renovated over the summer (and be shutdown)
• Options:
  • Use Senior House laundry machines
  • Small temporary laundry room in EC
  • MIT subsidizes College Bellhop
• Bathroom renovations starting on 2e and 3e during Spring break (eta 3-4 weeks)

Housemaster Dinners:

• You buy an entrée, housemasters buy soup and beverage
• First one on Thursday

Fridge Rooms:

• Housing doesn’t want to have them
• New process, people have to waive right to complain at housing if things go missing

RLA Update:

• Advertised position to thousands of people at Boston Student Life Conference
• A few good candidates
• Group interviews to follow

UA Senate Suggestion Box:

• Use it

House Tax:

• Do we want to raise it?
• Pros:
  • Budget got ruined by last year’s overspending
  • Higher budget would mean that people don’t have to go over budget
  • Rush is growing, needs bigger budget, budget needs more money
• Cons:
  • Will just build a surplus that won’t be used or will be used frivolously
  • We could just stay with the status quo and not overspend and get back in the black
  • Shouldn’t raise tax to support just one event (rush)
